How to play
- Keep the directional control to move
- To read the signs go to your face and press the action button
- Turn your fist or gun with the action button
- Touch the enemies to aim and come forward to fight
- Move over the loot and press the Pickup button to place it in your inventory
- To use an item, select it in your inventory and press the Use button
- Click on the chat field to talk locally. Press the chat icon to switch to global chat
As you walk, you raise the level of scanning, which increases the speed of movement. Fight the rats for a couple of levels and then follow the path south and remove rocks and trees. You can use your fists to get stone and wood at first until you have enough to make a pickaxe or axe.
Daggers and spears are very popular weapons. Daggers attack quickly and spears have a range of 2 tiles, so you can target monsters from a distance with little damage.
If you are burdened by the weight of items, go to the Character Update menu and the Pack Rat update to increase your load capacity.
You can get the Student upgrade to increase your experience and level up faster! Upgrades cost a lot of money to kill creatures, but you can get the Sage Wisdom upgrade faster.
A quick way to get experience is to perform the novice missions from the mission button.
Posters in the Novice Village will show you the rest, or you can ask questions in the Global Chat. You can head north to level 5 (level 10 recommended) and build your own house when you get to Wellington or Galebrook. Wellington is a safe town so it's recommended if you don't want to risk raids and PvP. You can also rent a house in Market Square if you have the gold. For a rogue experience see how long you can last in the underworld - an infinite dungeon with endless possibilities!
